Unbowed's official music video for "Hero Lux", the new single from the upcoming album "Colour the Soul". Pre-order "Colour the Soul" now: https://unbowedofficial.bandcamp.com/ "Colour the Soul" is based around the concept of a ‘runic soul map’, inspired and loosely based around what Carl Jung described as a “map of the soul”. In total, there are 10 aspects to this runic soul map which all align with the 10 songs on the record. Through these songs we explore each theme of the map of the soul in order to articulate and illuminate the potential of these concepts. Each release we’ve done in the past has conveyed more external-focused concepts of strength through adversity and overcoming strife. With this album, we wanted to take a more introspective look at the music we create and hopefully end up with a more cathartic and immersive atmosphere than we have ever produced in the past. "Colour the Soul" features artwork by illustrator Marta Sokołowska. Marta was also responsible for the artwork on Unbowed’s debut self-titled EP released in 2013. The album was written and recorded by Unbowed at Nomadic Arts studio in Guelph, ON, Canada. Featuring guest appearances from Joel Violette (Thrawsunblat, Woods of Ypres), Mathias "Vreth" Lillmåns (Finntroll, And Oceans, Dispyt) and Frederik Jensen (Mother Of All, Plained). The album was mixed and mastered by Alex Snape.
